Jennifer Bass, MPH is one of the co-founders (along with John Bancroft, MD – former Director of The Kinsey Institute from 1995 to 2004) of Kinsey Confidential, formerly called The Kinsey Institute Sexuality Information Service for Students (KISISS). KISISS was initially founded in order to answer Indiana University students’ questions related to sexuality and sexual health.
Heather Eastman-Mueller, PhD, CHES, CSE is a faculty member in the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington, Assistant Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health education and outreach at the IU Health Center, and a fellow for the American College Health Association (ACHA). She is an AASECT-certified sexuality educator and a certified health education specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
Debby Herbenick, PhD, MPH, CSE is an associate professor in the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington, Director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion (School of Public Health), and a research fellow at The Kinsey Institute. She has been writing the Kinsey Confidential Q&A since 2003. Additionally, Dr. Herbenick is an AASECT-certified sexuality educator and current president (2017-present) of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
Marie Metelnick, MA is the Communications Media Specialist at the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University. She has been a contributor and editor for Kinsey Confidential since 2008.
Kinsey Confidential has also had a number of graduate interns and guest bloggers since its inception, including J. Bradley Blankenship, Emily Cheshire Brown, Adam Fisher, Eric Grollman, Natalie Ingraham, Bianca Jarvis, Kristen Jozkowski, Kristen Mark, Margo Mullinax, Emily Nagoski, and Allison Yates, among others. Many of these individuals are now faculty at other universities, book authors, health educators, sexuality educators, and/or practicing therapists.
