A new study might provide effective and easily reversible birth control for men. It's hard to imagine, but it's looking like that may be a possibility...

There’s still a long way to go, but researchers have been working on a new form of birth control (for men!). The research has found that when testosterone and progestin are paired together, it’s effective at suppressing sperm count. More research needs to be done to determine just how effective this will be, especially because there are different types of progestin. Nevertheless, this is really exciting news! Besides condoms, the only legitimate birth control available for men is a vasectomy. Through hormonal contraception, however, it will be effective and easily reversible. It’s hard to imagine having a pill for men, but it’s looking like that may be a possibility…

The study was done by a group of international researchers and was published in the Journal of Endocrinology & Metabolism. You can see the full text of their study here.
