After suffering recent set backs, specifically in California, LGBT advocates have some successes to show for their efforts.

Last week Iowa legalized same-sex marriage. More recently, Washington DC is going to start recognizing same-sex marriages from other states, and gay marriage is now legal in Vermont. The world moves on.

    The world moves on, but it seems that the church doesn't move at all. They prefer spending 7 million dollars on a lobby against gay marriage than actually using that money for homeless people that die of starvation every day of the week.
